“If you’re not going to do the work, you don’t get to reap the rewards!”

This came to me in a dream.

In the dream my son, Nick, was back in high school.
He was failing all of his classes and smoking a lot of marijuana.
He was being disrespectful and I had had ENOUGH!

I took EVERYTHING out of his room!
I mean everything…it was bare!

And, I said those words to him,
“If you’re not going to do the work, you don’t get to reap the rewards!”

I woke up become the dream came to fruition but those words stuck with me.

So often in life, we want results (aka rewards) without doing the work.

When we don’t get the results we want:
We make excuses
We blame others
We blame our circumstances
We quit

We don’t take responsibility for ourselves and our actions.

We don’t realize the power we actually have.
