Sunday Helper?!

On Sunday we had friends coming to visit. In the morning while I was getting ready Greg came upstairs and said that he straightened up downstairs for when our guests arrived. I was like “awesome, thanks!” Well...when I got downstairs I stopped and looked around...and wondered (to myself) what exactly he had straightened up! I have to say that it still looked pretty messy to me! LOL! I literally ran the model in my head:
C- Greg said he straightened downstairs
T- Just say Thank you!!!!
F- Amused
A- I chuckled and shook my head, noticed that he did do the 4 dishes that were in the sink, I straightened the kitchen counter while drinking my coffee, shook my head, and giggled when I noticed he stacked the coasters of all things, then I just went about my morning.
R- I actually thanked myself for not reacting like I would have in the past!

In the past, I most definitely would have had a different response!
C- same
T- It’s still a mess!
F- annoyed
A- huffed and puffed, slammed stuff around, made it a point to show him what still needed to be cleaned, would’ve told him stacking the coasters was SO not important, complained to my female friend when she got here
C- I make the day a mess! (I would’ve put a serious damper on an absolutely beautiful Sunday!)
