Unapologetically Me!! My Real Life Stuff!!
Practice, Practice, Practice
“Affection is like playing the piano and you can forget how to do it without practice.”
Taxed or Taxing?
The other day my husband decided to work from home. Which was all well and good until he kept interrupting me throughout the day, he wanted some info from me and he wanted it now!
Intuition and Self-Care
Within the last couple of weeks, I was reminded that listening to your body and your intuition is one of the biggest acts of self-care that you can give yourself. Let’s back up to January. I went out for a long walk with my husband when I slipped on some ice in the park. I didn’t fall…my right leg kind of shot out in front of me, but I pulled it back before going down. Since I didn’t fall, I felt it was no big deal and continued with my walk, and we proceeded to walk 12 miles that afternoon.
Covid in Colorado
My 20-year-old son, Nick, called me yesterday asking me what I could suggest to help him. He had a fever, chills, body aches, vomiting, headache, congestion, etc….he felt horrible (obviously) and didn’t know what to do. I told him to Doordash the grocery store to get Gatorade, saltines, Tylenol, and chic
My Christmas Kitchen
Both of my sons live in Colorado. Greg and I decided it was easier to fly to Colorado and visit with them for Christmas than to have them come home. I booked the cutest little Air B&B right in the center of town. I was pretty excited, but last week I started to feel a little sad because I had told myself I wasn’t going to get them any presents. My brain told me that we pay for everything for them so basically, they didn’t “deserve” presents.
Oh, Christmas Tree…
I know this is corny, but please bear with me! I was sitting and looking at these trees on my mantel last night and had this thought come to me “My life is like these little trees”.
Sunday Helper?!
On Sunday we had friends coming to visit. In the morning while I was getting ready Greg came upstairs and said that he straightened up downstairs for when our guests arrived. I was like "awesome, thanks!" Well...when I got downstairs I stopped and looked around...and wondered (to myself) what exactly he had straightened up!
It’s Ok to Not be Ok
I've been in a bit of a funk the last few days. I am posting here now to let you all know that it is ok to not be ok!
Dirty Dishes
Musings from the mind of Steph Tell…LOL! I have done this in the past year or so, but this is the first time I am posting about it. I am doing something that I NEVER EVER would’ve done before this program.
Camp Gorgo
I went to an annual camp last weekend and did some amazing things. I had some successes and I had some failures, for example, the yoke carry. The one that I actually picked up and carried . . .
Getting Testy
The day that I was to take my exam to become a Certified Life Coach I was told to block off 4 hours to take it. The test shouldn’t take that long but it had to be taken all in one shot so they wanted to make sure I had enough time. Greg happened to be working from home that day. . .
Let’s talk about real stuff today!
Let me help you find more joy and happiness in your life!
